Can I see a sample of the data before I commit myself?
Refunds on mailing lists?
If you are not sure of what you are buying and the quality of our mailing lists you can download a small sample of the data you require for a minimum cost or go to our sample data area. However, you must register with us to download a sample.
What is the cost?
Contacts are priced at 20p per name for mailing and telemarketing plus an additional 10p per contact with an e-mail addresss. There is no minimum order.
What details do you provide for each contact?
For each contact you receive the name, job title, company name and the postal address with full postcode and phone number. The price is 20p per contact for postal address and telephone number or 30p with an e-mail address. If we have the company’s number of employees, website address and annual turnover, these details will be provided. Around 80% of the business lists have these details.
How do I know if your mailing lists are accurate?
Data HQ have been researching building and developing B2B databases for more than five years, we are members of the Direct Marketing Association and adhere to their strict code of compliance. We ensure accuracy of our lists by calling every record once every eight weeks by our own team of researchers. Our researchers check that the person is still in the post, their name is spelt correctly and that the company name, address, postcode and telephone number are correct. Are your lists screened against the Corporate Telephone Preference Service?
Yes, we screen our database against the CTPS register. If a company on our database has registered with the CTPS we don’t exclude it from the list but make it clear to you so you know that you should not be making a sales call to that number. You may, however, call the company to conduct research or check information. CTPS stands for Corporate Telephone Preference Service.
In what format will I receive the list?
You will be able to download your list from the Download Area in a CSV format, this means that you can use it in common programs such as Excel or it can be easily converted into a .txt document and imported into virtually any database system.
Can I have my mailing list on labels?
No – sorry we do not provide our data on labels, it is quicker and easier for you to create your own labels, for instructions on how to mail merge and print labels using Microsoft Word please click here .
How soon can I get my mailing list?
You will be able to download your data within a few minutes of completing your order and payment, our system will automatically notify you by e-mail when your data is ready to download.
How many times can I use the mailing list?
As often as you wish for a twelve month period from the date of the purchase. We monitor the use of our lists by inserting a couple of seed records to the list, all phone calls and mailing activity is tracked by our user tracking response centre. Our data is sold for the use of your organization only and must not be sold or swapped to any other organisation.
How do I buy an update of the list? If you order the updated list within 6 months of the date of the original purchase we will give you a 50% discount. Providing the selection criteria for the list remains the same.

Refunds are given on the records where the persons position and contact name are totally inaccurate, the records must be returned to us so that we can check the details, any inaccurate records must be returned to us within four weeks of the date of purchase. We only provide refunds for records where the individual is no longer working for the organisation or where he/she is not working within the capacity that we have stated.
Cancellations?
Sorry but orders cannot be cancelled once the data has been sent to you. If you are unsure about what you are buying, please call us to discuss it beforehand.
